What is Spandana Society?
Spandana Society is an NGO that shelters, educates and cares for former orphans, abandoned children and disadvantaged youth, in Hyderabad, India.
Spandana was founded by a husband and wife couple – Shobha Rani and Uttam Kumar – who strongly believe that all young people can become the change-makers and innovators of tomorrow if they are given a good start in life.
Shobha and Uttam raise 74 former orphans, abandoned children and critically disadvantaged youth as their own kids, working daily to ensure that they all have a healthy and happy childhood. Though the children come from different desperate situations, they have all found a family of love and support at Spandana.

Why is One Stop Global Sourcing partnering with Spandana Society?
We at One Stop Global Sourcing are a socially proactive company. Our directors and staff all believe in the power of empowering others through education and vocational opportunities. Supporting the work of Spandana Society – an organization that cares for children in a deeply transformative and remarkable way – is our way of extending our reach to those in serious need.
What are our goals with Spandana Society?
This year, with the support of One Stop Global Sourcing, Spandana has placed 23 of the children at Indu International School, an excellent private school in the locality.
Through the well-rounded and high quality education that the children are receiving at Indu International School, they not only will build the skills that will be important for their lives and their career, but they also will develop new perspectives about the world around them, and think big in terms of their goals and ambitions. They will also develop self confidence and will learn how to themselves be stewards of positive change in their communities.

Our Company’s Director Ms. Nita visited Hyderabad in Feb 2018. Where she invited everyone from Spandana for a picnic, starting at SnowWorld (Snow Theme Amusement Park) and then to a Buffet Dinner to Amogham Lake View Restaurant. Watch this video to see how kids enjoyed their day at SnowWorld.
